Email marketing is an add-on, priced by how many subscribed contacts you have. Free trials can try it with up to 250 subscribed contacts.
1. Set up
Settings › Email marketing: add your sender name, reply-to address and business name and postal address. Australia's Spam Act and New Zealand's Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act both require every broadcast to identify the sender and include an unsubscribe link (we add the link automatically).
Optional: add your own sending domain (for example news.yourcompany.com.au) and the DNS records we show. Until then broadcasts come from our shared address with replies going to you.
2. Only email people who agreed
Only contacts marked Subscribed receive campaigns. Mark contacts as subscribed one at a time on their page, in bulk on the Contacts list, through the "Send me news and offers" box on your web form, or with a consent column when importing. We record how and when each person agreed.
3. Create and send
Broadcasts › New broadcast: choose who it goes to (all subscribed contacts, or a saved contact view), write the email, send yourself a test, then send now or schedule.
Results
Each broadcast shows how many were sent, opened, clicked, unsubscribed and bounced. People who unsubscribe or mark it as spam are removed from future broadcasts automatically.
